ACME performs the music of Louis Andriessen in a concert presented by (Le) Poisson Rouge in partnership with Carnegie Hall, as part of Andriessen's 70th birthday celebration and yearlong Composer-in-Residence chair at Carnegie. The concert will be preceded by a discussion with the composer and Robert Hurwitz of Andriessen's longtime U.S. record label, Nonesuch Records. The program will include Facing Death for string quartet, as well as Image de Moreau, Trois Pieces, and Trepidus for solo piano performed by Eric Huebner, and other works to be announced.
